Forget playing it safe with head-to-toe neutrals. This autumn, the colour combinations we’re most excited about are a little less obvious.
There’s something about an unexpected colour pairing that can make pieces you already own feel completely new. And with our autumn arrivals landing at Seagreen, three combinations in particular keep finding their way onto our moodboards.
1. Powder Blue + Soft Grey
Possibly the easiest new colour combination to try this autumn.
If chocolate and burgundy feel like too much of a departure from your usual neutrals, start here. Powder blue and soft grey sit naturally together, but the result feels far more considered than either colour worn alone.

2. Lavender + Burgundy
Pastels for autumn? This pairing makes a very convincing case.
Lavender might traditionally belong to a spring palette, but paired with deep burgundy, merlot and wine tones, it takes on an entirely different character. The contrast between something soft and something rich is precisely what makes the combination work.

3. Sky Blue + Chocolate Brown
The combination currently taking over our autumn moodboard.
Chocolate brown has firmly established itself as a new-season neutral, but it’s the addition of soft powder blue that makes it feel particularly fresh for autumn 2026. The coolness of blue cuts through the richness of chocolate, creating a combination that feels softer than brown and black but more interesting than brown and cream.
