Marie Antoinette Bust
This exquisite wax bust presents an idealised portrait of Marie‑Antoinette, inspired by one of the Brachard brothers (Jean‑Charles‑Nicolas or Jean‑Nicolas‑Alexandre). Rather than show her at the height of royal power, it captures her with grace and gentle dignity. Her head is turned slightly to the right; her shoulders are draped in soft fabric; she wears a crown adorned with a fleur‑de‑lis and a string of pearls.
Handcrafted in France in collaboration with the Atelier de Moulage of the Réunion des Musées Nationaux — the bust stands about 22 cm high.
Though made of wax, it is unscented and designed as a decorative art piece rather than a functional candle.
